You own a messenger bag and have genuinely never used it for anything except this exact trip. Blue chore coat, cowboy boots that have actual dust on them, a trucker hat that says Jackson Hole because you went once and never stopped mentioning it. You've got a flannel folded into the bag in case the sun drops, socks that are somehow doing a lot of work in this outfit, sunglasses you'll lose by 3pm and won't care.
